The Herbstlabyrinth is the largest cave system in Hesse and one of the most important in Germany. Its total length is over 12 km (as of 2018). The extremely pure sintered jewellery is spectacular. Thanks to the innovative lighting and a walkway construction made of GRP material, it is one of the most modern show caves in the world.

A visit to the Herbstlabyrinth show cave is something special in more ways than one. In a small group of regularly 13 people, you will be in the cave for just under an hour and can enjoy the beauty of the diverse stalactite formations. In the autumn labyrinth, you will be exploring a cave that is both a protected monument and a nature reserve. For this reason, the design of the tour route was chosen so that everything in the cave could remain untouched and unchanged. The entire installation of lighting and pathways was carried out by a company whose employees are experienced cave explorers as well as skilled craftsmen.
The Knöpfchenhalle is the largest single room in the cave. With a length of 60 metres, a maximum width of 22 metres and a height of 32 metres, it was made accessible to the public in 2009 via an artificial tunnel with 124 steps. The cave is also an information centre in the national Westerwald-Lahn-Taunus Geopark.
