Ferry|Impro - How teams learn to react to each other instead of talking past each other
Many teams communicate - but few really play together. The difference lies in an ability that is rarely practised in everyday working life: really reacting to each other, recognising what the other person has to offer and creating something together instead of pushing through your own agenda.
This is exactly what Ferry|Impro trains - with a tried and tested system of methods from improvisational theatre. No stage performance, no acting course, no "now you all improvise". Instead: structured exercises that focus on the mechanisms of real collaboration.
What is trained: The methods train three areas of expertise that are directly transferable to everyday working life: Empathy and attentiveness for one another, creativity and leaving behind ingrained thought patterns as well as responsiveness in unpredictable situations. Participants often experience that they are significantly more spontaneous and creative than they had believed themselves to be - an effect that sustainably strengthens self-confidence in dealing with difficult situations.
Who for: The workshop is suitable for teams who want to deepen their collaboration, for sales teams who want to practise quick-wittedness and empathy in customer contact, and for managers and employees who frequently have to deal with unexpected situations in their day-to-day work.
Scientific background: The effectiveness of improvisation methods has been scientifically proven: Studies show positive effects on experiencing flow, interpersonal mindfulness and so-called flourishing - the personal blossoming of personalities in groups.
A room with enough space to move around and a projector are all you need.
