The cajón has found its way to us from faraway Peru. As a simple rhythm instrument, it is used in various musical styles.
This extraordinary event integrates the building and playing of this drum into a group dynamic process.
All participants receive ready-made kits, which they assemble together to create a finished percussion instrument. Mutual help is encouraged and immediately leads to a lively exchange within the group.
Where necessary, our helpers are on hand with help and advice.
Once the instruments are ready for use, we start by practising a few simple pieces. The players very quickly develop a feeling for the correct handling of the cajón. By the time your team has rehearsed more complex rhythms and sequences, a group experience is created that will characterise the atmosphere within the company for a long time to come.
