What is the offer doing in terms of sustainability?
We do not view sustainability as an afterthought, but as an integral part of our work. In our workshops, participants use real, preserved moss to create a work of art that is not discarded after the event, but remains on display for many years.
The moss used is genuine natural material, but once in place it requires no water, light, fertiliser or regular maintenance. This creates a long-lasting touch of greenery for interiors, without the ongoing effort involved in looking after traditional plants.
As Vertical Nature, our background lies in the design of moss and plant installations as well as in carpentry. We work with high-quality natural materials, plan our projects carefully and produce many components ourselves. Through digital planning and the use of modern machinery such as our CNC machine, we can prepare cut-to-size pieces with precision, use materials efficiently and minimise waste.
In our workshop, too, we take care to use materials thoughtfully. Tools and aprons are reused, the required quantities are prepared appropriately, and the finished result is not a short-lived craft project but a lasting work of natural art.
