Overcoming challenges together, building bicycles and doing good in the process
With ‘Build a Bike’, you combine exciting team challenges with practical skills and social engagement. A special team event where good teamwork translates into real support for others!
To start with, you’ll learn more about the charity project and your shared mission: to build bicycles that will then be donated to people in need. Whether it’s a youth centre, a school or a charity in your local area – your team’s efforts will go where they can really make a difference.
But before the bike workshop opens, your team spirit will be put to the test! In small groups, you’ll tackle a variety of challenges. Tricky puzzles, exciting quiz questions and entertaining games of skill ensure plenty of variety. With every challenge you complete, you’ll earn virtual ‘BIKE’ money, which you can then use to bid for bike parts, tools and accessories. Clever strategies, good communication and strong teamwork will be key to your success.
Then it’s time to get to work! Together, you’ll assemble the individual components and build fully functional bikes from the materials you’ve earned. This requires manual dexterity, mutual support and a good division of tasks. After a final safety check, you can admire your finished bikes and, if you wish, test them out on a short test ride.
What makes this special is that your commitment has an impact far beyond the event itself! The bicycles are subsequently handed over to a charity. If you wish, you can even hand over the donation yourselves and thus experience first-hand the difference your joint efforts make.
A team event that combines team spirit, creativity and social commitment – and one where you not only grow closer as a team, but also bring joy to others.
All we need are tables and chairs. We’ll bring everything else!
Before you start assembling the bike, you’ll tackle puzzles, sustainability questions and little interactive games. For each task you complete, you’ll earn virtual bike money, which you can use to bid for the bike parts you need. This requires joint decision-making and good teamwork.
