Kite building
When building a kite, each group is given the task of making a flyable kite using the simple basic materials and creative materials we provide. This is about much more than just the question of how the poles, rope and fabric fit together. The structure and design must be conceived and the design and colouring coordinated. Your event motto or a theme of your choice can serve as a guideline. Every group needs to be successful:
- Creativity
- problem-solving skills
- Communication skills
After the construction phase, a jury made up of members of all the teams assesses the kites for originality and quality. Special points are then awarded in the fresh air when the individual models have to prove their flying characteristics. Everyone will have fond memories of this event for a long time to come, as the kites can of course be taken home.
