Create impact together
Together, you can build solar lamps that help children in regions where electricity is scarce. The assembled lamps will be donated to children in countries like India, Cambodia, or Tanzania – you can make a direct impact!
🌍 Before you start, you’ll get fascinating insights into the issue of energy poverty and learn how your help truly makes a difference. This will kick off the lamp-building activity with great motivation!
✉ After assembly, you have the opportunity to write personal letters or paint postcards (optional package upgrade) that will be sent with the lamps to the children. This makes your contribution even more personal.
SolarBuddy, an Australian charity organization, has distributed hundreds of thousands of solar lamps worldwide since 2016, improving the lives of millions of people across more than 33 countries. A solar lamp saves a family up to 80% of their kerosene expenses and protects them from harmful fumes.
Across Europe, sustainability is becoming regulated, structured, and measurable. The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is reshaping how companies report on their environmental and social impact. Even Swiss companies working with EU partners are increasingly expected to align with these standards. Through the SolarBuddy Impact Calculator, organizations can clearly measure and communicate the outcomes of their engagement. This transforms a team event into something much more valuable: a data-backed sustainability initiative.
Location: We do not have a fixed location and always conduct events at the client’s desired location and venue.
Let us know as soon as possible if you’d like to participate – we receive many inquiries from all over Switzerland and would love to secure the date for you! 😊
To ensure everything runs smoothly, we need a table surface for each participant and a projector for our insightful presentation.
Through the SolarBuddy Impact Calculator, organizations can clearly measure and communicate the outcomes of their engagement by measuring the long-term improvements in children's education, family health, financial savings, and CO2 reduction for every solar lamp built.. This transforms a team event into something much more valuable: a data-backed sustainability initiative.
